Captain Byron Cobb flies Airbus A300-600s, and A310s for a major USA Cargo airline, and has been employed there for 24 years. Captain Cobb serves as an Airbus Line Check Airman, Initial Operating Experience Instructor, and does FAA Observations for new Captains in the Airbus. Captain Cobb graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, and holds Airline Transport Pilot certification. Captain Cobb also holds Private single-engine, Commercial multi-engine, instrument ratings, and airline transport ratings in the Learjet, Citation, McDonnell-Douglas DC10 and Airbus A310 (includes A300 and A310 aircraft), and has flown multiple single and multi-engine piston and turbine powered aircraft. Captain Cobb has extensive international experience having flown airline and corporate jets worldwide.
